CTI 2000 Equal Opportunities Policy 4.10.2021
Equal Opportunities Policy Statement
It is the policy of CTI 2000 to treat all employees and volunteers fairly and equally
regardless of their sex, sexual orientation, marital status, race, colour, nationality,
ethnic or national origin, religion, age, disability or employment status with the
organisation.
Furthermore CTI 2000 will ensure that no requirement or condition will be imposed
without justification which could disadvantage individuals purely on any of the above
grounds.
The policy applies to recruitment and selection, terms and conditions of employment
and every other aspect of employment or involvement in the organization.
CTI 2000 will regularly review its procedures and selection criteria to ensure that
individuals are selected and otherwise treated according to their relevant individual
abilities and merits.
CTI 2000 is committed to the implementation of this policy and to a programme of
action to ensure that the policy is, and continues to be, fully effective. Overall
responsibility for the policy lies with the Management Committee. However, all staff
and volunteers are required to comply with the policy and to act in accordance with
its objectives so as to remove any barriers to equal opportunity. This policy extends
to our clients in so far as it seeks to protect them from acts of discrimination by staff,
volunteers, Management Committee members and specialist service providers.
Any act of discrimination by employees or volunteers or any failure to comply with
the terms of the policy should be reported to the Management Committee and could
result in disciplinary action.
Any external service providers will be expected to comply with this policy whilst
working on behalf of CTI 2000.
